I would either phone them or write to them with your query. Ask for a printed statement that shows the latest data and balance due.I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

I would say you still owe them.0

I am guessing you still owe them the amount you have stated above, to be on the safe side i would get in touch with them and see what they say.0

Im trying to log in to my account to see if it has a negative sign, but it won't work.
I'm pretty sure it doesn't, so would guess you have overpaid. Are you still paying it via PAYE?1 -

My son tried logging in yesterday, so that I could give you a definitive answer, but he couldn't log on. I guess the site is down.I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.2

Yea I'm still not having any luck.
The advice is to move to direct debit within the last year or two of paying it off. I am employed and do self assessment, so don't think it's clever enough to work out what your remaining balance is while calculating what you owe (9% on anything above the threshold).
The fact you haven't moved to direct debit may mean you have overpaid.1 -

Hello.... did you get a response to this? Same happened to me. I paid off the outstanding balance and I logged back in yesterday to check and it now shows -£6589!! I can’t remember if my original balance was a negative figure. I don’t think it was. I’ve no idea what to do!0
