please could you help. I started employment with Toolstation in December 8th 2019, I left in the 15 th March 2020 to start a job at jon Richards in Meadowhall. Due to outbreak I was made redundant on the 19 th of March, with no job I have asked Jon Richard to furlough me but they say there is no job to go back to and I don’t come under criteria. So I have gone back to my old company Tool station who have said they are not considering putting me back on payroll as I don’t follow criteria. Could you please advice me what to do or how to go about, as surely Toolstation could put me on furlough and claim the money then take me back of after all this
kind regards
nicola

They could, but they dont have to and nobody can force them.
Look at Universal Credit1 -
Toolstation would have to pay you holiday pay, and you also chose to leave them, so it's not in their interests to take you back in order to furlough you. Sorry for your situation.0
