Wayfair no return policy

Hi there.
I ordered some black out curtains for my daughters nursery from Wayfair. They arrived but they are in no way blackout. I would like to return them but they say because of Corona they aren’t accepting returns? I feel like I’ve been done as I now have to fork out for different curtains and can’t get my money back. Can they do this?

No they can't point blank refuse a return.

"Return services may be delayed as a result of COVID-19 safety measures. Our Customer Service team will provide you with further information if your return is affected."

A pair of curtains is hardly a difficult object to be returned, have they advised when you can return them?

Turns out they couldn’t. I have been trying to get through to their customer service department for a while but I got through earlier (they apologised and were lovely) and explained. They are trying to protect delivery drivers but they were happy to process my return and it’s being collected tomorrow. 

It was all sorted relatively quickly and the lady I dealt with was lovely so no complaints from me here.
