Missed gymnastic classes

Due to Coronavirus my daughter missed 3 gymnastic lessons in March as the club shut. I pay a month in advance by standing order and the invoice does state no refunds can be given.
Just before my April payment was due to come out I requested to freeze my membership as I was unable to pay due to massive salary reduction, this was declined and I was advised my daughter has been removed from the club, I had no alternative but to accept this.
I asked how I would get my hours owed (which was initially suggested would be make up sessions on reopening), I advised I was happy with refund/ 3 lessons after shut down or credit note for fun sessions etc. The club advised me as I have left I cannot have anything for those lessons.
Is this correct, ultimately I doubt I can do anything about it anyway and it is not a lot of money but I feel upset that a 5 year old was removed from her club and they won’t allow the sessions I have paid for and as the lady has been so unkind it makes me feel less inclined to let her have our cash when we are so short? Just interested on opinions to consider whether to correspond further or just get over it!!
thankyou- minor in the grand scheme of things!!

I'd let it go.  If your daughter enjoys the sessions and would like to recommence when able, there's nothing to be gained in fighting for a small amount of money only to find you're barred from re-joining.
