    I don't think it's a gift to the nanny :smiley: just somewhere for the nanny to live as part of the job offer :wink: I'm sure the salary would reflect the benefit accordingly.

    What if the Nanny lives locally (perhaps with a boyfriend/girlfriend) or doesn't want the flat (bedsit/studio?) offered...

    Having a flat as part of the job would also be a taxable benefit...

    Much easier to explain now rather than when he hears about it from the broker.
