Refund advice - Peak International

Hiya,
So sorry, no idea of this is the right place to ask but I need some advice.
My daughter was due to go to Peak International with Girl guides. We paid £50 and the balance (£250)
Peak International cancelled the camp due to Coronovirus. They have stated they will refund all balanced, but not the full deposit.
I know it's not much but I've since been furloughed so could really do with the whole amount coming back.
Are they allowed to retain any of the deposit? The camp was cancelled beginning of April, wasn't due to go ahead until August. We wasn't given any paperwork regarding the camp other than 'your child is going, balance due end of June'
