As many people I applied for Tandem cash back credit card in November. Got it with no problems, used it with no problems. Then the membership fee introduction came so I decided not to participate. I let my balance clear and left it there.
I have checked my credit score and noticed red warning because I had account / credit card for less than a year! (I have not changed any other cards/accounts for years)
Looks like because Tandem closed/frozen my credit card account my credit score is ruined!
It was not my choice to stop using the service. I signup for free membership credit card. Tandem introduced fee couple of months into the membership. This is not what I signup for....
Is there anything I can do to fix the credit score rating?

Fear not. You don't have to do anything. Your credit score isn't a real thing and Experian et al aren't a lender.
Any change in your files will make your score plummet. The good news is that lenders will not care about a single closed credit account and even less about your pretend credit score.
So take a deep breath, relax and remember that all is well.
Apart from Covid 19 and the economy of course.0 -
Yup. Wait. And it may go up again. Or down. Who knows?
Or cares for that matter - you certainly shouldn’t.0
