Good morning Martin
I’m self employed and VAT registered on the flat rate annual accounting scheme. There is no direct mention of this scheme during the present situation, I cancelled last months DD, but received standard letter stating I would be removed from the scheme of payments weren’t made. I’ve phoned and emailed to get advice, unfortunately HMRC VAT Dept now seems to manned by non HMRC civil servants who can’t answer my question.

So, Can I defer these monthly payments and still stay in the scheme ?
