Am I insured?

I have an odd travel insurance query, for which I cannot get any information. I have a package booked in June, which is a small group tour to Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. The tour was booked separately to the flights, which are to and from Manchester. The tour has been cancelled as there is no way of entering Azerbaijan, as they closed their visa application site, but has been rebooked for June 2021. The flight out is with Air France, who immediately gave me a credit note effectively valid for over 2 years for any flight. Brilliant service.
The flight back is from Baku in Azerbaijan, to Istanbul and then a separate flight from Istanbul to Manchester. Azerbaijan Airlines, Azal has told me that their flights are operating and I could have half my money back. Turkish Airlines will only give me back the taxes, about £10.

My insurance, UK Insurance, via a Nationwide Flexplus Account is not answering the phone and not giving me any help via messaging.
I do not think that I have a chargeback, as the flights are operating, even though I can’t get there.
Any thoughts anyone?

You can open claim with Nationwide later. If you wait a bit, there's a chance your flights will be cancelled and you will get your money back. If you ask now, it's voluntary cancellation on your side.

How and where were the flights booked (did you book each leg separately?)
New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.

Thanks. That is my feeling too. I just wondered if anyone could tell me anything concrete, as it’s such an odd one.Penelopa.Pitstop said:You can open claim with Nationwide later. I booked the flights separately unfortunately, so it doesn’t work as a package. Three separate flights being one out and 2 legs back.Life__Goes__On said:How and where were the flights booked (did you book each leg separately?)0
