Uniervisal Credit

Hi
Hope all are safe and well
I have been furlongs since 26.03.20 I got paid  for a march and April 80% salary  applied for both of us on UC and my wife has been furlongs since 23.03.20 one of her 2 jobs but not been paid for the job she has bee furlongs from but is getting paid for her second job as she works for the supermarket and online sales asst
But UC has taken both salaries  into consideration and advised we will not get anything even though she still waiting to get paid from furlong employer which nearly a month now  like everyone we have mortgages to pay nd council tax and in my case rent and service charge as on share ownership flat
I now we can get holiday payments for the items listed but the will need to be paid once all back to normal thus further pressure on the Finances
any help re the UC  what can I do to ask why not get anything

UC works on Real Time Information (RTI) from the employer which goes to HMRC and then to the DWP. If the employer has advised the DWP that you've been paid and the money was not sent to the account, then you need to talk to ACAS about the money not appearing. (0300 123 1100)

I can understand employers not paying if they don't have the actual cash, but it is an odd employer that tells HMRC that you have been paid when the money hasn't been transferred as they would have had to pay tax/NI to HMRC too.

    Edit:
I wish get some help to weather it better for me to open a iSSa  or a saving account as will have 6k to play around as the markets are bit  volatile  at present thus not want to lose the cash in 1 month
or Should I put in my son saving account ?
Of course, there is the issue of savings which will be taken into account as well as pay

Check whether the last regular payment of salary from the employer that has furloughed you wife was paid in your assessment period.  If it was, it will result in a deduction.

Would you have received anything if that salary didn't fall in the assessment period?

What dates are your assessment periods for UC? Earnings that you receive during this affect the amount of UC you're entitled to. Sometimes a person can be paid twice during their assessment period.
