Furlough after maternity

I was on smp from April 2019-February 2020. Before going on maternity I was contracted to do 38 a week but on returning to work my contract changed to 30 hours a week. I have been furloughed 80% worked out including my maternity. The government website said it shouldn’t be done like this, what can I do? When corrected should it be based on my 38 hour contract or 30 hour contract?
