Getting charged for extra fees 18 months after completion

Hello I hope this is something you can help me with. I bought a flat 18 months ago now Sept 2018. But today I got a email from the solicitors asking for money. £620.16 to be exact for a broker fee. I've emailed back asking then to tell me exactly what this is?? Can't they still bill me for things so many months on. I believe I have paid in full for everything 18 month ago when I moved out. Thanks in advance Oliver

Yes, if you owed the money 18 months ago and haven't paid it, then you still owe it now. But as you don't seem sure what it's for, I would suggest you wait to see what the answer is.

6 years is how long someone can claim money for. sounds like someone spotted an error when auditing.
