My employer have just advised me I need to take 10 days holiday in may, which I will be paid 100% is this legal. I know if I had leave due they would have to pay in full but can they I force the taking of annual leave?
Thanks in advance

Although technically they must give you notice of twice the length of the holiday they want you to take. Keep in mind though, if you stand on that rule, they could repeatedly give you two days notice to take a single day's leave!
In any case, having re-read your post, they could give you twenty days notice now to take the last ten day of May as holiday.0
