Need a replacement shower drain mesh disk

Hi,
The other day the mesh disk inside my shower drain disintegrated, this disc stops prevents large hair and other debris from going down the drain. Its a plastic circular flat disk, about 1.5 inches (4cm) in diameter and sits about 1 inch below the surface. However i seem to be having trouble finding a suitable replacement.
This is my shower drain:

With the cover removed, the mesh disc sits about 1 inch below on top of the water level/pipe:

Most of the mesh/covers i can find fit flush on top of the drain opening which then means the drain cover can't fit properly, as its claws sit slightly below the surface:

Any suggestions? The closest thing I could find was this but this means I won't be able to use my existing drain cover. Would prefer just to get the replacement mesh disk and keep my existing cover.
Many thanks!

If you can't find the proper thing, would something like this work? https://www.diy.com/departments/aqualona-bath-hair-stopper/237234_BQ.prd
I get them from B&Q in store, despite what the website says. The plastic is soft and flexible so, although they're designed to sit raised up over the plug, I cut off enough of the top part that it actually sits inside the pipe (I use it where a pop-up waste broke).0
