My brother recently used our clippers to take off the majority of his very thick and coarse beard, because it was way too long for his shaver. The clippers did just fineYou'll be fine - with the guard on for the length you want, it can't go wrong!

Had a quick go this morning - and yes, it is remarkably easy !!Took a few inches off the sides and front - the back is difficult, doing it myself - in a mirror, everything is reversed !0

I didn't even use a mirror for the back. I just started at the nabe of the neck and went up made sure to feel if any longer hair left and then went over the same place again.

Great news! I had a phone call from my hairdresser yesterday to say the salon was reopening with the appropriate safety measures in place. I have an appointment for a cut and blow dry on 15th July. Funnily enough I had been snipping at my hair yesterday morning before the call. I admitted my sin to her and she was unfazed saying she will soon sort it out. I don’t suppose I’m the only client who’s been DIY!0
