Hi
Was wondering if anyone has quite specific information with regards to usage of arranged overdraft facilities with regards to a couple factors.

One I was wondering - if you only in overdraft for one or two days - is there an impact on your credit score if that's how long you in your arranged overdraft for...
Ie as against consistently in your arranged overdraft...

Two I was wondering with the new co-vid 19 rules - my current account is with Nationwide - seen as there no charge for arranged overdrafts for short period whilst this co-vid 19 does this also mean if you in your arranged overdraft facility during this co-vid 19 period there will be zero impact on your credit score,

Three also is there an impact on credit score even if you not use your arranged overdraft ie I recently increased my arranged overdraft from £500 to £2000 - is having a larger arranged overdraft facility have a negative impact on credit score.

Many thanks

It doesn't matter if it impacts your credit score - just how it's reported.

Lenders should accurately report your account conduct - however some will not report overlimit or overdrawn if rectified within a set period.

Other lenders will then use this information to assess your suitability and credit risk.

So you saying the actual credit score has much less an effect on future lending etc as opposed as to what other companies report about your overdraft conduct etc. I thought it would be totally based on your actual credit score..
Does a potential lender aware of your credit score then ..

The score doesn't have much less an effect.  It has NO effect.

A lender won't know what your pretend score is unless you tell them.  But even then, they won't care.

It has no effect. Let alone “much less”.

Lenders don’t see or care about the score, just the data on your files.
