Payment help please

Hi I made a booking and paid a deposit with my virgin credit card. The credit card is linked to the booking account and the balance due will automatically be collected on a set date. I don't want this money to go and cannot remove my card from the account, I have to change it to a different one. If my card is cancelled and reissued because I lost my card will that payment still go? Many thanks.

Yes, the payment will still go through.

Better to put a new card on there if you don't want it on the Virgin one.  Remember you'll still be liable if the payment fails for any reason.

Might be worthwhile speaking to the company payment is going to.
