    I've numbered your questions above.
    1. No, value end of Friday. (because on Monday morning they coudl open up or down from were they were Friday)
    2. Makes no difference, still end Friday, and use the £/$ exchange rate from Friday as well.
    Note,  are they actually *in* America or are they American shares held in a UK broker?
    3. Maybe they sold some? You'd have to call the registrar for that companies shares and try and sort it out.
    4. No.
