JSA and Furlough Scheme

As of the 28th Feb I was employed through an agency and left this role in early March to commence a period of self -employment but all my work was subsequently cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. I am awaiting to hear back from the agency to find out if they will furlough me. I do not expect to be re-hired from this agency at least in the interim period.
I have though in the meantime started to claim JSA as I am actively looking for work.
If the Furlough request is approved , will I no longer qualify for JSA?

Don't have exact answer for you but I do know that if you claim JSA and then your circumstances change you do need to let DWP know.

If you are furloughed then no, you won't be entitled to claim JSA as well.
