Hotel Refund - Help I'm going round in circles!

Back in February I booked to go to Prague over easter. I booked flights with Ryanair and I also used Ryanair rooms to book the hotel.
Whilst I have received the link from Ryan Air about accepting a flight voucher (I've not accepted it!), all I have received re the hotel is an email from them the day before my travel to say my hotel had been cancelled and I had not been charged...... this is not correct, my credit card clearly shows I have been charged at the point of booking. I have been advised to seek a refund from the provider before I chase my bank.
Here is my issue....(important to note I have been unable to speak to anyone, and have only been able to go through chat bots)...... Ryan Air advise to speak to the hotel booking provider (Hotels.com)... Hotels.Com have no record of my booking..... my credit card shows payment actually went to expedia.com who also have no record of my booking.....  I really need to speak with someone to explain this conundrum as I want my £600 back! Czech republic closed their borders on the 13th March, therefore the cancellations were outside of my control and refunds are due.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You need to contact  your credit card company and tell them you want a Section 75 (if over £100) claim against this transaction.
Say you have paid for hotel, they cancelled  but no one is refunding you
You can let the credit card company sort it sort.
This might take time,  so you can also chase anyone else up if you want,  but you can not get paid out twice ( if you do you have to return one payment)
