Hi there, This is my 1st post so hope it's okay. I ordered the new iphone SE 2nd gen. on April, 27th and received it today, April 29th @ 3.30 pm. However, after reading the iphone User Guide and realising that I now have a 3-1 sim card I know that it's way beyond my comprehension. I'm a few years older now with multiple health problems including short term memory loss and just wouldn't be able to retain such knowledge needed to operate the phone. I know I have a 14 day cooling off period but I'm worried because I opened the box, even though I didn't charge it or put the new sim card in; I always read first and follow directions next that's how come I knew it would be too much for me. The cellophane wrap is still in one piece so can easily be put back around the box but I've opened the envelope that the new sim card came in. Any help in this instance would be gratefully appreciated. Also, what to do if I cannot contact anyone what with the recent Pandemic on the go?

What exactly is your concern? Is it the complexity of using the phone? Or is it merely about the SIM card? The iPhone SE uses a Nano SIM ... this is the smallest one which you break out of the middle of the 3-in-1 SIM. (It easily presses out).

Smart phones are generally quite intuitive ... once you've started using it you'll find things become 2nd nature and you don't even think about it. Like driving (if you do) ... we don't even think about the mechanism involved in changing gear, for example, we just do it. Using a smart phone is likely to quickly become like that (at least for the basic features).1 -
I agree with DoaM. Whatever phone you buy, the process for inserting the SIM is pretty much the same, so if it's the fiddly-ness of that bit that's put you off, changing to another handset isn't going to be of any help. The size of the SIM has no bearing on how you use the phone. Is there someone you can ask to help put the SIM in and get it set up? After that, as DoaM says, phones are quite intuitive, particularly iPhones.

Hi there, Thank you to all for the replies. Sorry I didn't explain properly, the phone it's self was the issue not the sim. I've been able to talk to some more people about it and have decided to return it. I think a phone for 50 plus with just the basics will do for me. Now, if only I had a return address for Carphone Warehouse all would be fine, still waiting for an e-mail after 5 days. But again, many thanks for the help, it was very much appreciated.0
