Make sure you’re well insured as you or someone who uses your garden will inevitably break a leg or arm or worse when they inevitably slip on it.If you don’t believe me ask any A and E nurse or doctor.0 -
You can get anti slip decking oil which works well. Also, keeping the decking clean helps to stop it getting slippery.Deleted_User said:Advice?

As for advice on building it - there's plenty of youtube videos / guides online. The main things to focus on are a solid base with correctly spaced joists - you don't want the deck bouncing when you walk on it! Ideally, if you're garden is running on a too steep slope, you'd sink some 4x4 posts into the ground to attach your base to (you still need a slight slope on your base to allow for run off). Also, think about upkeep. It'll need regular oiling to look it's best.0
