NSI Income bond paying money in not showing?

Hi all, I am in the process of "moving money" around given the recent reductions in rates. I decided to open an NSI Income bond as an option to put some money in that I will then need to draw down for this year. Paid in by card 1 week ago but money still not showing in the account? (I can see it in the "pending" section). Just wondering if this sort of delay is "normal". Most of the time I put money into an NSI account it appears the following day if not sooner?

If you send a message via the link for Twitter on the website they are very quick at giving a clear and concise answer to any queries. I've found them better than the online chat. I think a faster payment from your bank is visible by the end of the next working day but if you pay by from within NS&I' s website it's treated like a debit card payment that takes longer.Stubod said:Hi all, I am in the process of "moving money" around given the recent reductions in rates. Hi and thanks for the reply. I managed to get onto their web chat (which was not available earlier), and they advised that any deposits made between 20th and the 5th of the following month will not show until the 6th, (due to a "shut down period"). However interest is paid from the date paid....so no probs really....
