It's a high price for a second class stamp, but then so is 24%.2 -
I was not aware that this was the case and feel this is extortionate!
Why would you be aware of something that hadn't happened yet?
Also, why did you employ them at 42% if you think it is extortionate?
Is there anything I can do?No. It's too late. You chose to employ a company to use a free-of-charge process. You agreed on the price with them for doing this. They did their 5 minutes work and put it in an envelope and posted it (to the same address you would have used if you had done it yourself). Indeed, it may have been less than 5 minutes as some claims companies only ever gave the bank your name, address and known account numbers on a spreadsheet with dozens or even hundreds of others and gave no more than that.
Bottom line is that you agreed to it.
