If you mean you've got contents insurance in your name, the address you've given the insurers is the place where you're actually living, and everything else you've told them is correct, I don't see what the problem is.But I don't know what you mean by "I'm registered living at my mum's house" or why you think that would be relevant to the insurance.2

Yes I have contents insurance at my aunts but I'm in the electoral roll at my mum0

For those wondering what this was about:"Bit of a long story. last year i lost my home after being a carer for my grandmother for many years. I now moved in with my aunt and her family but i'm not officially living thereim register living at my mums house it was a tough time after the lost of my grandmother and things moved very fast so it was all a bit messed up.
A lot of my things from the house went to my aunt's home which we using as my things was new.
i have home insurance with john lewis which they transferred over to my aunt home it up to be renewed and want to keep it as i travel alot for work and my things are covered and some of my stuff in in the loft and need to be insured.
my question really is will i still be covered if i had to make a claim
