karcher k2.35

hi
I wonder if someone can help me. The hose on my karcher has sprung a couple of leaks. I have managed to disconnect it from the karcher unit but I've been unable to detach the gun from the hose. I've seen the replacement hoses on their own, or complete with the gun. I wonder if someone who has this one (its quite an old model, perhaps 15 years old) could instruct me how to take the gun from the old hose. many thanks

Trying to remember my old Karcher there should be a black clip at the back of the handle near where the hose attaches. Pull this outward and the hose should detach.

Mine has a black button as part of the moulding of the gun handle which you need to push to release the hose. It's just above where the hose enters the gun.

thanks guys. I found the slim black button, I finally managed to open it outwards and unscrew the hose! I will now order a new one. Thanks again

My advice is not to get a Karcher branded hose but buy a karcher adapted rubber hose. A recommended seller on ebay where you'll get a decent hose is Qwashers - https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/qwashers

They're a bit more expensive but their hoses are quality, makes sure to order the correct fitment.

If you are replacing the hose I would get a slightly longer one if you need it.
I bought one off Ebay & could have any length I wanted.
As said make sure you order the correct fitments.
