Rebates on Car Insurance / Road Tax at this time?

Apologies if this has been asked before, but does anyone know if there are any schemes to receive rebates on their Car Insurance, or have it extended - or Vehicle Tax at this unprecedented time?
I only ask as I have heard many conflicting rumours, and lets face it, we are all at home, and the Government are telling us to not use Cars/Vehicles.
Has anyone heard anything, or is it a case of contacting the DVLA or your Car insurance provider to ask this?
Thanks

Well Road Tax was abolished in 1937 so it's probably a bit late for refunds.2

You need tax if the car leaves your driveway any time in the month and has never been tied to usage. You can SORN it for a whole month and not pay the tax on that month. For insurance, Admiral are refunding everyone £25 (the average monthly cost), but I'm not sure anyone else is doing the same. You can always phone your insurer and adjust your mileage down to see if it'll make a difference; I imagine someone going from 20k/year down to 2k/year might see a rebate after the admin fee.3

Remember the idea mooted some years ago of adding the cost of car insurance to the cost of petrol ( Vehicle Tax too ?) - Would probably get more traction now ?1
