Issue registering with pepipoo and no contact email or number

Posting on here as hoping someone from pepipoo is available to help. I have been trying to register with pepipoo as i have received my notice to owner for a council issued pcn and want some guidance/ help on how to respond. When im trying to register it asks for the next initials after the initials of the issuing authority in your country. Mines is DVLA but when I enter EWMB it doesn't accept it. I need help as I am limited to 28 days and with this lockdown i received the letter 2 days ago and its dated 14th April.
Thank you for your help in advance.

    Issuing authority of what?

Are you using a hotmail address to register?

It'll be the hotmail addy.  You can't use that email to register.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You are meant to use the initials of your licence issuing authority for your country (mines is DVLA) and enter the next letter in the alphabet after each initial as your answer. That is not working it keeps saying try again basically.

Ive no idea what you mean by the initials. Is it some form of capture?

Are you sure the relevant 'issuing authority' to which they refer is the DVLA?  You have the details in front of you - we are just surmising/guessing in trying to help you.

The bottom line is that we have no direct connection with or influence over PePiPoo, although a number of us post there (mainly their private parking sub forum) as well as here.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully, when life gets back to normal, it will become impossible for those scammers who are left to continue their vile trade, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Good morning DPD. This is relating to a council infraction!  Wipe the sleep out of those eyes, not every newbie needs a 'Nine times out of ten' from you! 😏

  • Hi All,
Thank you all for your help :)
Here is the actual section from the registration page -
    Verification Code
Please take the initials of the organisation that issues driving licences in Great Britain, then in the box type the next character in the alphabet for each of its initials. For example if you think the organisation is NATO, you'd enter OBUP
    - My driver licence issuing authority in the UK (for Scotland, Wales & England) is DVLA.
I'm really just hoping an Pepipoo administrator or someone who can get in contact with the person/ team responsible for registering can help me out.
