Section 75 Protection - Payment Link

Dear All,
Have been doing a lot of research about this but cannot get a definitive answer.
Planning to make a purchase from a retailer. They are currently closed but me paying will secure the goods. I need to make full payment for the item and then collect when the store opens. I plan to pay by credit card to ensure I receive the s75 to cover me (in the remote case of them going bust before I collect).
However, they have sent a Payment Link for me to pay, administered by a payment processor. I feel this does not break the debtor - creditor relationship, but anybody have any experience or knowledge of this to clarify?
I have called the credit card company who just said that it sounds fine, but that doesn't fill me with any confidence and I am sure they will not be able to locate that call if I need to dispute...
Look forward to some guidance.

All I know, is that credit card firms are sometimes reject Section 75 claims because the retailer they bought from used a third-party payment-processing firm to collect their payment.
See the MSE article linked below as it may guide you:
Revealed: Section 75 credit card protection may fail due to payment processing loophole - shoppers beware
As a heads-up, you only need to pay a small deposit by credit card to receive full s75 protection. So you could pay just one pound by CC to receive the protection.

Thank you. I have read through that article.
Truth is every retailer will need to use some sort of third party as they are not payment processors themselves. The rules are very unclear as to what is classed as 'third party'.
So wanted to know if anybody had particular experience of this pay by link arrangement.0 -
Who is the merchant?
Which third-party payment processor would you be using?
Answering the above two questions may help others with their response.

Fact is if they go bust you do not need S75. A chargeback covers that..Life in the slow lane0

If you for example called the retailer and they took.your card details over the phone you would be covered.
if they send you a link and you pay eg via worldpay you might have a fight on your hands should anything go wrong...0
