70th birthday trip Ryanair& booking.com..

As my title suggests myself and my partner booked for us and my mum to go away June 23rd-30th to Malaga with Ryanair, we booked a villa separately on Booking.com which I can cancel for free. My issue is with the flights, Ryanair haven’t cancelled our flight and I’m concerned if they don’t what route to take? I booked insurance at the point of buying flights mid January, I’m not sure if I have to wait for Ryanair to cancel the flights for us?  If they don’t we still can’t go....

Mum has been advised by her doctor to self isolate till June 14th there’s no way she would risk going even if the world did return to some unlikely normality by then. She has one condition I declared on the insurance and myself and my partner are both in 30’s.  I booked them on my credit card direct with Ryanair. Any ideas?

Just want to add I’m fully aware of the farce of a Ryanair refund already I’m asking how to go about cancelling with the mom or do I wait for them to cancel. What a mess.

All you have to do is wait for the flights to be cancelled. Whether you get a cash refund or a voucher nobody knows how things will be in 5-6 weeks. Cancel the hotel booking. There wont be anyone going to Spain on holidays in the next few months.

Thanks for the reply. I did think as much but it’s so hard to find anything out at the moment.
