2 claims per household?

My claim is going through for Universal Credit at mo. My daughter is 18 and lives with me. Also her partner.  They are expecting a baby in October.  My question is do we claim Universal Credit separately?  Will they pay a claim for a couple and me as a single person in one household?

Your claim and your daughters are completely different and won't affect each other. Your daughter will need to claim with her partner. Is your daughter still a student?

Assuming your daughter is not in full time education and you are not still receiving Child Benefit for her, she can make a separate claim with a partner as a couple.
You would declare your daughter and her partner as non-dependent adults living in your household. Declare your daughter as an "other" person, not as a child.

Yes you could have 5 family members living together all claiming UC in their own right.

As the baby isn't born yet and she's a student then she can only claim UC if she claims a disability benefit.
