Thanks for the tips, I've got the little blighters in my communal areas and the occasional one in the flat.

Going to try some menthol around one section and Avon skin so soft round others, see which works better.

Like OP I can't be near lavender as it causes migraines.

I always found citronella to be hit and miss when on holiday!
