I ordered a waterproof jacket and within 24-hours it was dispatched. Shortly afterwards I received communication from hermès giving me a delivery time. Despite the fact that I was at home the app said that that they tried to deliver and no one was at home and there was no alternative safe place to leave it.
They said they would deliver between 9 and 11 the following day. At 10:42 I received a message saying that they had tried to to deliver it at 10:57 and no one was available to take delivery and no safe place to leave it
Today the same thing happened again.
1 I have tried contacting Hermes but their online bot just continuously ask for my tracking number.1 I give them the tracking number and I just continue to ask for it.

I'm getting rather frustrated now and don't don't know what I should be doing to resolve the matter

Contact the seller - they contracted Hermes, it's their problem to resolve.

This usually happens when they don't come to deliver, they just mark it as attempted and then back out again the next day and round it goes.

High volume with possibly low staff is the issue, just pop a message to the company if it still hasn't arrived a few days after they said it would.

For the second non delivery, the hermès app showed a picture of a GPS map indicating that they were indeed in the area.
Accurate it would indicate that they've just driven past without bothering to stop which is really annoying

Instead of putting the tracking number in when asked put your post code and it should transfer you to a human
