OPC Parking Charge - St Johns Retail Park (DCB Legal)

Just to keep this thread updated, as predicted DCB Legal have indeed expressed their desire to "proceed with the [bogus] claim". I have today filed form N180 with the CCBC, following guidance from @System's post here.
Will keep this thread updated as and when next steps occur. Thank you to everyone who helps on these forums!2 -
The judge hopefully will read everything and there is nothing wrong, in view of your statement, to add a final point that you ask the court to establish the legality of adding an unknown amount ?
As far as DCBL saying they will continue, this is a cat and mouse game, you are the cat. DCBL are just like the other dodgy legals, they puff up the wings ready to shot down in flames. Do you have a pocket extending cane you can let the judge use to spank DCBL for their utter stupidity ?
And if this does get to court and they mention the feeble and farcical code of practice, would he/she accept being charged for something that is not a law and simply a whim to make extra money4 -
Case has been updated on MCOL and transferred to my local court, as requested in N180. Fingers crossed the judge does read this and chucks it in the bin where it belongs. If not, guess I'll get prepared for my day in court with these clowns!2

Good, do prepare yourself by starting to write your witness statement, collating your evidence and calculating your summary costs assessment.5

Update: The claim is now listed for a Dispute Resolution Hearing before a District Judge at my local court via telephone. More than happy to dispute this claim and put my case forward. Just a quick question, is there any advice for taking on this claim in the court? Any do's / don'ts when discussing the claim and disputing with the other party?
Thank you all for the advice!0 -
Telephone hearing thread
confused
is this the actual hearing?2 -
Another thread mentioned a 'Dispute Resolution Hearing' which was 30 minutes with the Judge. I see it as a way to try to narrow the issues or resolve a case quickly.
DO NOT MAKE OFFERS.
THIS IS NOT MEDIATION (which is unsuitable anyway to these scam claims).
Treat this as if it is a full hearing of your case but be ready with a VERY short bullet point list of your main defence headings.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
