Little Tikes

Hoping somebody could advise me please? I purchased a Little Tikes Dino Bouncer for £99.99 direct from the company at the beginning of December as a Christmas gift. It’s been used a few times by a small child, so not excessively. It has recently started splitting along the seams underneath the attached slide; looking at the online reviews this is a common fault. I have contacted Little Tikes who have told me the 90 day warranty applies from the date of purchase so they’re unable to assist me further. I was under the impression that any items sold had to be of a durable nature. Or does 3 months count as durable for a toy?
