MOT expired - stuck in limbo due to windscreen claim

    When you say you can't get through, what do you mean?

    I'd guess you are pressing '1' or whatever for existing claims and then getting booted.

    How about pressing '2' or whatever for a new claim instead and then explain once you get to talk to someone?

    Or don't press anything, sometimes if you keep your nerve and refuse to press anything, eventually you get through to a person.

    What insurance company are you with?

    When I had a windscreen claim, I didn't deal with the insurer directly I just booked it on the windscreen fitters website and they dealt with the insurer for me.

    Thats what happened for me. On their website it tells you which one(s) to call for windscreen repair/replacement. Didn't need to speak to them at all.
    IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

    4 Credit Card and 1 Loan PPI claims settled for £26k, 1 rejected (Opus).

    Are "Autoglass" not working for necessary repairs? I thought  most insurers use them.
