Hi how did you get on with this? Im in the same situation as you are now, I switched from Halifax to RBS and my money seems to be missing but no one can tell me where it is...0

I eventually received all the money that was ‘lost’ but it did take quite a while. I kept checking repeatedly and I actually made a formal complaint to Halifax because of the way I was treated when I called. They responded to my complaint and gave me £20 for my trouble. Softened the blow of the missing funds and made me feel heard. I think they were also made to look into it more sufficiently, which (I think/hope) sped up the process of locating it and transferring it to my new account. Although, they never actually admitted to it being being a problem that they’d caused.... FD were brilliant though. I’ve had no problems with them at all - very pleased I made the move!!0
