I purchased a kettle and toaster from Groupon 6 months ago. The toaster has now broken and I asked Groupon for a replacement. As they have none of the exact model left they are now offering me !4.99 of credits. I paid £79.99 for the set and cannot get a replacement for that price. As its faulty surely I am entitled to a refund?

Depends on what you bought. Did you buy a toaster and kettle or did you actually buy a voucher which was redeemed for a toaster an kettle?
There's a typo in your figure. How much in credits have you been offered? £4.99 or £x4.99?0 -
They offered £14.99. And i didn’t receive a voucher. I purchased with them and it was sent to me without me having to redeem it against a store.0

Exact dates would be helpful here, to ascertain your exact rights. I suspect you've been offered credits to match the value of the toaster, reduced by six months of use.
You do need to understand the exact terms of your purchase. You may not have physically received and redeemed a voucher, but that might be what you actually agreed to do when you used Groupon. If that's what happened then that's why you've been offered credit instead of a proper refund. All perfectly legitimate and lawful.0
