Can I claim anything?

I am a ‘bank‘ (ie casual labour not financial sector) employee, for a department within the NHS, but cannot be furloughed due to job role (they need people but I cannot work because of anxiety about Coronavirus).  No contract as such, zero hours or otherwise. I work as and when required, if it suits me, but when I do it is PAYE. Only been working (due to personal circumstances, but worked full time up until 5 years ago) for around 12 months but so little that I haven’t paid Tax, just NI.  I cannot work at the moment as my husband is the vulnerable group, but he is on state pension. Can I claim any benefits? UC? Job seekers? Never claimed anything before so not sure if I can? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If necessary look at claiming Universal Credit (I assume you are below state pension age).  Information here https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/universal-credit/. 
Claim online https://www.gov.uk/universal-credit/how-to-claim. You both have to claim and entitlement is based on your joint circumstances.

You will be excluded from claiming UC if you have joint capital/savings over £16,000.

Be aware that claiming UC will end any Tax Credits, Housing Benefit etc you currently receive.
