HX Car Park Management LTD Parking Ticket

Hi All 
i was borrowing my company car when I parked in a car park that has HX management parking cameras in i payed for 4 hours parking and due to not being from the area I couldn’t find the car park and was consequently 20 minutes late to collect my car. My company then received a PCN for £60. I was given the letter by my company and appealed myself in regards to the fine. My appeal was subsequently rejected and I was told to pay my £60 fine before the 24th of April. I then had a letter come through from the car park company stating on the 22nd April I now owe £125. Unfortunately I didn’t appeal the rejected claim in time I need some advice on how to get this overturned.

You owe nothing unless they take you to coourt, win and as judge awards them a sum of money.  The newbies thread at the top of the index page tells youu how to deal with this.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully, when life gets back to normal, it will become impossible for those scammers who are left to continue their vile trade, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

You just need to read the NEWBIES thread and other HX threads, and learn how to win in court (it's fun!).

There was no appeal that could work, the system is bent.  Your local court is the ultimate fair 'appeal'.  PLease read th NEWBIES thread and other HX court claim threads to see what we mean.   Hopefully the letters are coming to you personally, at your home address now and the company is out of the picture and won't just pay it, like only idiots would?
