Uncollected damaged but working item

Options
Hello,
Back in September last year I ordered a laptop. It eventually arrived, after several miscommunications, but the box had a hole in it, and a visible dent in the laptop. I kept it unopened and contacted the supplier, who arranged a replacement and collection of the damaged product. The replacement arrive fine, but nobody ever collected the laptop.

I contacted them again and informed them that it was never collected, and they arranged a new collection date with me. This passed, and again there was no collection.
I contacted them one last time, and made it clear that it would be my third and final attempt at trying to organise a collection, and I would otherwise assume they no longer  wanted the product. They replied to say that they would be in touch by the end of that day, but I never heard anything else from them.

Almost 7 months later, and they have not contacted me back. I decided to open the laptop to see what condition it was in. It seems that the dent was only on the outside, and that it otherwise works fine.
I am not sure of my rights in this situation. I now have an extra laptop that I don't particularly need, but I feel that trying to sell it may not be legal, despite the supplier seeming not to care about collecting it.
Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Don't sell it.  The company has up to six years to claim it back.  Unlikely, but you don't want a nasty surprise.

Pack it up and when the current covid-19 situation recedes, write to them asking for formal notification of whether they want to collect it, pay you to send it back or let you keep it.  If they let you keep it, you can do as you please.

Alright, I'll do that then. Thanks for the info!
