Resolved*Lloyds bank account and PayPal

Hi guys,
I've recently made an eBay purchase and paid via PayPal. I'm just wondering how long does it usually take for the purchase to be shown on the online bank statement?
I've never made a purchase via this method before and that's why I'm asking. I have granted PayPal permission to take funds from my Lloyds bank account in order to pay for items on eBay - i.e. set up a Direct Debit. I did this since I opened my account.
I've placed the order this Monday and yesterday it was shipped so I'm just waiting for it to arrive. I'm curious if that's correct because neither on my bank account's pending transactions, nor on processed payments does it say that PayPal has taken any money for the purchase. I don't have any PayPal credit either so right now my order's been shipped but no payment has been taken, or least registered, on my bank account.

If you don't have funds in your PayPal account then PayPal will initiate a direct debit to your linked bank account. This is sometimes known as an E cheque

it takes between 5 and 7 working days for the money to arrive in your PayPal account and then be paid to the Merchant

Yes. The Direct Debit has been set up with the linked account since I opened the PP account. It even withdrew its usual £1 token payment when I set it up so it should be working.

Today I saw that PayPal had taken the money fir the purchase in the form of DD so everything is alright! I'm happy because it was just a time thing and I don't need to do anything else.

Usually takes around 3 days from purchase to Debiting your bank account when DD is used. Nice 3 day grace on payments. Even had goods arrive before it has debited my account.
