derby playhouse in administration - unused tickets

Options
Hi, hope I've posted on the right bit!

A group of us normally go see a show each year & my sister in law purchased 15 tickets for the playhouse's christmas show but it closed last night and has gone into administration.

I've read Martins article elsewhere on here that if she used her credit card for the purchase she should be able to claim from the card company but can anyone tell me if there is a time limit?

I think she bought the tickets as soon as they were available a few months ago.

Cheers

  • No there is usually no limit but you can't claim until AFTER the date on the tickets (incase an Administrator comes in and the shows go on).

I think the refund will be capped at face value of the tickets - you will lose any surcharges if they have been paid for through an agent such as Ticketmaster.
