PAYE Contract worker, Not on payrole in February

Hello, I am not sure if this is the right place to put this and this is my first post so please excuse me. I was not on a payrole between the 28th February and the 19th March, but was paid on the 27th of March for a short contract I worked (PAYE). I am a PAYE Contract worker. Am I right in thinking the above means I cannot qualify for Furlough with any company, and also I have savings over the amount for Universal Credit so is my only option Job Seekers allowance. I know others are in worse situations than me but I just wanted to check on here. If any one can confirm or offer any advice that would be great, thank you. Ollie

Your employer must have notified HMRC with the RTI information on or before 19th March. If this wasn't done then you can't be furloughed. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/furlough-scheme-cut-off-date-extended-to-19-march You will need to speak to your employer.

If it's a no then as you have savings of more than £16,000 then yes it's New style JSA providing you've paid the right amount of NI credit between April 2017 and March 2019. Over 25's it pays £74.35 per week.
