One utility bill

Hi,
I'm about to move to a new rented house. The landlord has offered us to do bills through One Utility for a set monthly rate. Is it cheaper to do the bills ourselves or go with this company?

Do it yourself - you may find better deals (go for separate elec and gas suppliers) and you will get a far better understanding of where your energy goes.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

Never allow estate agents/letting agents/landlords to get involved with utility suppliers/bills.  They are all mostly incompetent at what they do and really don't care when anything goes wrong . It's a road to disaster.

And normally it's not best deal , it's down to the backhander from the supplier

Even if the deals were good, what would your £105 per year management fee provide, except a nice commission to the letting agent?
