Wanting a waterfall

We’d like a waterfall in the garden if possible, not a water feature but an actual waterfall. Ideally one or 2 fence panels wide at the bottom of the garden (approx 16m away, 8 std fence panels) and 6ft high.
i know I’m asking a lot. Anyone got any ideas how we could go about this please? I was thinking a metal or timber frame and a fibreglass vertical ‘rockery’ kind of design, but 6ft square (and 2 of them)
any ideas, suggestions or pointers greatly appreciated

What you are describing is more like a civil engineering project than a garden feature. To get a curtain of water to fall evenly across a face 4m wide would be a feat in itself, never mind the plumbing involved in collecting and raising it to that height again. I've seen artificial streams created in commercial settings, so this sort of thing can be done, but I couldn't begin to guess at the cost of building and maintaining such a feature. There's also the matter of potential noise created by a large pump and/or water splashing, which you might inflict on neighbours. I know many people find the sound of water splashing pleasant, but there are probably just as many who don't.Finally, there's the simple question, "Why?" A waterfall that arrives out of nowhere at the end of the garden might be a talking point, but what would its long term raison d'etre be, after the novelty has worn thin?5

It's certainly possible, but as Davesnave suggests you would be talking about incredibly powerful pumps to move that volume at that height. You'd be talking 50,000-150,000 litres per hour at over 2 metres head. You would need to spend thousands on the pumps alone. As also suggested, it would look incredibly out of place surrounded by fencing panels.2

How ig is your garden? It' have to be quite large massive to take that kind of feature.
