Just had an e-mail saying Poppy account rates dropping (significantly), from 1.2% to 0.55% as from next month...oh dear were to go now?
(I have already opened a Marcus as a new home for some Santander funds...but may also now open an NSI "income" account as well, particularly if they are maintaining their rates for a bit)

In their defence they are being quite consistent in their rate reductions and not reducing excessively. The BoE reduction is 0.65 in total and this is what Coventry are passing on.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

RCI was still offering 1.2% this morning. Variable rate though0
