I believe it means that planning officers can make the decision, it doesn't have to go before councillors.mazibee said:Please can someone explain me what that meansExpected Decision Level: Delegated DecisionThanks in advance.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0 -
I think what it means is that the final decision has been delegated to the planning officer who is dealing with the matter rather than having to go before the planning department of your local council.mazibee said:Please can someone explain me what that meansExpected Decision Level: Delegated Decision
This may well be to do with the Covid-19 social distancing measures as the council may think it's not a good idea to hold planning meetings at this time.0 -

Round here, the planners don’t like very wide driveways, as it does reduce the scope for others to park.Good luck, and I’d be rather interested how you get on.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

It may be that they differ from county to county, but they will typically specify minimum distances from features like junctions and blind bends etc. The one connected with my property also specifies how high the grass and bushes on the the verge are allowed to grow to (0.6m)mazibee said:Also please can anyone explain, about the rules of the visibilty splays

I am extremely thankful to all.I just wanted to update that our application was successful and we are allowed to drop the kerb in front of our house for the full width i.e approximately it will be 9 meters (4.5 meters we already have and additional 4.5 meters approved, its very rare that council allows but we are lucky and we managed to get the approval).A lot of needs to be done now as I need quotations onReplacing the existing block pavingMake a soakaway, (any idea for building a soakaway under the driveway, approx how much it cost, any suggestions)New block paving with levels raised to match the footpath. Thanks again for all the suggestions.
