@nic_c can I elaborate on your point? If it's something that catches people out, and the point of key facts is to simplify messages to stop people being caught out, then perhaps it is something that should be included ? Or earlier I mooted the idea of telling people, at point of BT, that they will be charged interest on any subsequent purchases if they don't pay off the total balance (including BT) in full.0

We don't know the T&C of the OP BT, it can be different to what I have. Was the BT from opening the card or one given on an existing card. There is also some misunderstanding, such as the OP saying they weren't getting the 56 days interest free on purchases - it is both "upto" and if they are carrying an interest bearing balance the interest will be on the existing until that is paid and then the new purchases from then.0
