I have booked this river trip but foresee it unlikely to happen. Anyone made a decision yet whether to not pay the remainder. Thinking of waiting for the demand from SAGA for the main payment and then decide. Advice appreciated.

Only you can make that decision based on what you can afford to lose (deposit?) versus what you can afford to add to the amount potentially out of reach for some time.  e.g. lose £100 rather than putting £5,000 in that you may get back in vouchers is an easier decision than losing £500 rather than putting in another £1500.

Wait for the demand from SAGA before paying any further money.

Currently SAGA cruises are suspended until June 2020.  October cruises may yet not go ahead.

Or if you want to abandon the cruise and move your booking to an alternate, this ...

Can I change my holiday?

If you'd like to amend your holiday any time up to 75 days before you travel, we can do this for a small amendment fee.
If your new holiday is more expensive, you'll obviously need to pay the difference too.

If you want to amend your stay within 75 days of departure, these will be calculated on a booking by booking basis.
